As of 2000 there were 19,461 people residing in Sun Valley. Sun Valley is a quaint community that still offers all the conveniences of a larger town. There are many shopping and dining options and entertainment opportunities at Hobey’s Casino.
Lemmon Valley–Golden Valley has a population of approximately 6,855. It has a total area of 32.5 square miles and contains the Swan Lake Nature Study Area, a small wetland conservation area home to many bird species.
North Valleys High School is was built in 2001 and currently has a student body of roughly 2,250 students. NVHS is home to NV-20012, a United States Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp. There are approximately 180 cadets in the Corp.
